"Everyone deserves a life that feels meaningful, even when much of life has been spent coping quietly or carrying pain inside."

You may be here because something no longer feels the way it once did. Perhaps you feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of what to do next. You may have tried to cope on your own, yet something still feels unresolved. My role is to help you understand what is happening, work through it with clarity, and support lasting change.

Hi, I’m Choon Yen, a full-time therapist with experience supporting people from many different backgrounds and stages of life across healthcare and private settings. Those experiences continue to shape the empathy, care, and understanding I bring into therapy today.

I work in a person-centred and collaborative way, placing you at the heart of the process. Together, we look beneath the surface to understand the deeper roots of what may be holding you back, so meaningful change can begin.

A particular area of interest in my work is trauma and the lasting impact of difficult experiences, including those rooted in childhood. Early experiences can shape self-worth, relationships, and the way we cope in adult life. I am passionate about helping people heal from these experiences and come closer to who they would like to be.

If you are considering therapy, you do not need to have everything figured out. A thoughtful conversation can be a meaningful place to begin.
